Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 250 g Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 250 g Plain flour
  • 50 g Brown sugar
  • 100 g Apricot jam
  • 100 g Walnuts
  • 250 g Cream cheese
  • 50 g Mini chocolate chips

Instructions

    Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add flour and mix until dough forms.

    Divide into 3 discs, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Line baking trays with baking paper.

    Roll each disc into a circle. Spread with jam, then sprinkle with walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate chips.

    Cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll each wedge from the wide end to the point.

    Place on baking trays, seam-side down. Brush with egg wash.

    Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden.
