Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 4 Lettuce
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Coriander
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 400 g Black beans
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder

Instructions

    Mash black beans in a bowl, leaving some chunks.

    Mix in breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chilli powder and coriander. Season with salt.

    Form into 4 patties. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.

    Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes each side until crispy.

    Serve in buns with avocado, lettuce, tomato and your favourite sauce.
