Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 1 Lime wedges
  • 400 g Beef brisket
  • 2 Star anise
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 200 g Rice noodles
  • 1 Fresh herbs (basil

Instructions

    Char onion and ginger over flame, peel.

    In a pot, simmer beef, onion, ginger, star anise, cinnamon for 1 hour.

    Add fish sauce and sugar, simmer 30 minutes.

    Soak and cook noodles per package.

    Slice beef; strain broth.

    Assemble noodles and beef in bowls, pour broth over.

    Top with herbs and lime.
