Ingredients

  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 cup Split yellow lentils

Instructions

    Saute cumin, onion, and tomato.

    Add lentils, turmeric, water, and salt.

    Simmer until lentils are soft.
