Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Salt to taste
  • 2 cups Rice
  • 1/2 cup Urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions

    Soak rice, urad dal, and fenugreek overnight; blend to a batter and ferment.

    Boil, peel, and mash potatoes.

    Saute onion, mustard seeds, chilies, and turmeric, then add potatoes and salt.

    Spread batter on a hot pan, cook until crisp, add potato filling, and fold.
