Ingredients

  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Whole chicken
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 Oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 500 ml Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne

Instructions

    Soak chicken in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight.

    Mix flour with all seasonings.

  3. 3

    Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in seasoned flour.

  4. 4

    Fry in 170°C oil for 15-18 minutes, turning once.

  5. 5

    Internal temperature should reach 75°C.

  6. 6

    Drain on wire rack. Serve hot.
