Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 60 g Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 2 New york strip steaks
- 1 Fresh thyme and rosemary
- 1 Coarse salt and black pepper
Instructions

Bring steaks to room temperature. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat cast iron pan until smoking hot. Add oil.

Sear steaks 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Add butter, garlic and herbs. Baste steaks.

Rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Serve with baked potato and steamed vegetables.
