Ingredients

  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Fresh thyme
  • 200 g Bacon lardons
  • 100 ml Dry white wine
  • 1 kg Waxy potatoes
  • 200 ml Crème fraîche
  • 1 Whole reblochon cheese

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 200°C.

    Boil potatoes until just tender. Drain.

    Cook bacon until crispy. Add onion and cook until soft.

    Layer potatoes in baking dish. Top with bacon and onion.

    Mix crème fraîche with wine, pour over.

  6. 6

    Cut Reblochon in half horizontally. Place cut-side down on top.

    Bake 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

    Serve hot.
