Ingredients
- 500 ml Water
- 150 ml Cream
- 200 g Sugar
- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 1 Vanilla ice cream
- 4 Ripe pears

Make syrup: heat water, sugar and vanilla until dissolved.

Poach pears in syrup 20-30 minutes until tender. Cool in syrup.

Make chocolate sauce: melt chocolate with cream.

To serve: place ice cream in bowls, top with poached pear.

Drizzle warm chocolate sauce over.
