Ingredients
- 60 g Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Fresh thyme
- 1 Fresh parsley
- 300 ml Dry white wine
- 2 kg Mussels
- 1 Crusty bread for serving
- 4 Shallots
Instructions

Melt butter in a large pot. Sauté shallots until soft.

Add garlic, thyme and bay leaf. Cook 1 minute.

Add wine and bring to boil.

Add mussels, cover and cook 5-7 minutes until opened.

Discard any unopened mussels.

Sprinkle with parsley.

Serve immediately with bread for dipping in broth.
