Ingredients

  • 10 g Salt and pepper to taste
  • 500 g Bread flour
  • 7 g Instant yeast
  • 350 ml Warm water

Instructions

    Mix flour, salt and yeast. Add water and mix to form shaggy dough.

    Knead 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

    Let rise in oiled bowl for 1 hour until doubled.

    Divide into 3 pieces. Shape into baguettes and place on floured towel.

    Let rise 45 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 240°C with a baking stone and steam pan.

  7. 7

    Score baguettes, slide onto stone, add ice to steam pan.

  8. 8

    Bake 20-25 minutes until deep golden and hollow when tapped.
