Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda
- 225 g Strong white flour
- 7 g Fast-action yeast
- 300 ml Warm milk and water mixed
Instructions

Mix flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add liquid. Beat until smooth.

Cover and prove 1 hour until doubled and bubbly.

Stir in bicarb. Rest 15 minutes.

Cook in greased rings on griddle until holes form and set.

Flip briefly. Serve toasted with butter.
