Chicken and Mushroom Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Chicken breast
  • 300 ml Chicken stock
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 100 ml Double cream
  • 375 g Puff pastry

Instructions

    Cook the chicken, mushrooms, and onion in a pan until the chicken is sealed and the vegetables are softened.

    Stir in the stock and cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6.

    Spoon the chicken mixture into a pie dish.

  5. 5

    Roll out the pastry and cover the pie. Trim the edges and make a slit in the top.

    Brush with beaten egg.

    Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is golden.
