Ingredients

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 50 g Butter
  • 50 g Plain flour
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 500 g Mixed fish pie mix (salmon
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 Hard-boiled eggs

Instructions

    Poach the fish in the milk with the bay leaf for 5 minutes. Strain the milk and reserve. Flake the fish.

    Melt the butter in a pan, stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

    Gradually whisk in the reserved milk until the sauce is smooth and thickened.

    Stir in the flaked fish, chopped eggs, and parsley. Season to taste.

    Spoon the mixture into an ovenproof dish.

    Boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash.

  7. 7

    Top the fish mixture with the mashed potato.

    Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the potato is golden.
