Ingredients
- 50 g Caster sugar
- 125 g Butter
- 175 g Plain flour

Preheat the oven to 160C/140C Fan/Gas 3.

Mix the flour and sugar in a bowl.

Rub in the butter until the mixture comes together as a dough.

Press the dough into a greased and lined 20cm square tin.

Prick the surface with a fork.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, until pale golden.

Cut into fingers while still warm.

Cool in the tin.
