Ingredients

  • 300 ml Double cream
  • 1 pack Sponge fingers or trifle sponges
  • 100 ml Sherry
  • 4 tbsp Raspberry jam
  • 1 can Fruit cocktail
  • 500 g Custard
  • 2 tbsp Flaked almonds

Instructions

    Arrange the sponge fingers in the bottom of a glass dish.

    Drizzle with sherry and spread with jam.

  3. 3

    Top with the fruit cocktail.

  4. 4

    Pour over the custard and chill for at least 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Whip the cream and spoon it over the custard.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle with toasted almonds before serving.
