Ingredients

  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.5 Onion
  • 400 g Sausage meat
  • 375 g Puff pastry

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6.

    Roll out the pastry to a rectangle.

    In a bowl, mix together the sausage meat and onion. Season well.

  4. 4

    Form the sausage meat into a long sausage shape down the centre of the pastry.

    Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.

  6. 6

    Fold one side of the pastry over the sausage meat, then the other.

    Press the edges to seal.

    Cut into 8 rolls and place on a baking tray.

  9. 9

    Brush with beaten egg and make a few small slits in the top of each roll.

  10. 10

    Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
