Butter Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 400 g Can chopped tomatoes
  • 500 g Chicken thigh fillets
  • 2 teaspoons Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon Grated ginger
  • 1 Steamed rice and naan bread

Instructions

    In a bowl, combine the chicken, yoghurt, garam masala and turmeric. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook the onion, garlic and ginger until soft.

    Add the chicken and cook until browned.

    Stir in the chopped tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes.

    Stir in the cream and heat through gently.

    Serve with steamed rice and naan bread.
